McBride makes move permanent
Posted January 29, 2010
Danny Lennon has completed his only piece of transfer business during the current window with the addition of Scott McBride from Dunfermline on a permanent deal after his original loan contract ended on the 26th January.
"I am delighted to add Scott to the squad on a permanent basis", said Lennon.
"He has done well during his loan spell and has become an important part of our squad."
McBride signed up on a 6 month loan deal in the summer and has impressed during his time at Central Park with 7 goals from 14 starts (and 7 sub appearances.) The left-side attacking player came through the youth ranks at East End Park and made his debut against Hearts in the CIS Cup in 2007. The player also spent a spell on loan with Arbroath during season 2007/08.

Trio sign new deal
Posted May 19, 2010
Danny Lennon has wasted no time getting ready for life in the first division by clinching extended deals for three players and releasing four.
In a hectic couple of days Lennon has held signing talks with the majority of his promotion winning squad with top scorer Gareth Wardlaw, Mark Baxter and Kenny Adamson the first to put pen to paper on new deals. Lennon has also secured verbal agreements with a host of other players and further announcements are expected in the near future.
Jay Stein, Neil McCabe, Mark Forbes and Derek Wallace have all been released. Best wishes from everyone at Central Park.

Cowdenbeath committed to Central Park
Cowdenbeath's owners say the club will continue to play at Central Park following promotion to Division One.
The Fife outfit were in talks with Spartans about a possible ground share earlier this season.
A merger was suggested with the East of Scotland League side because of costs involved in improving the stadium.
But the owners say they are fully committed to the club, the Scottish Football League and to "Central park for the foreseeable future".
Cowdenbeath finished third in Division Two, missing out to Stirling Albion for the title on a dramatic final day.

Die Blue Brazil verlieren ihre besten Leute: Nach Erfolstrainer Lennon und Talent McBride folgt nun Toptorjäger McQuade seinem Ex-Trainer und seinem Mannschaftskollegen McGregor nach Paisley. Bitter für den Aufsteiger.... :(
