Ugbo joined Genk last summer from Premier League side Chelsea in a deal worth €3.5 million. Although the striker managed 25 appearances this season (six goals), Ugbo only played 910 minutes overall. The 23-year-old committed to play for Canada last fall but needs consistent minutes to break into the national team first team XI, which includes strikers Cyle Larin and Jonathan David. With a market value of €3.5 million, Ugbo is currently ranked among the 25 most valuable Canadians.
