Jay Tee Kamara joins Columbus Crew - Louisville City receives sell-on

Columbus Crew have signed talented attacking midfielder Jay Tee Kamara from USL Championship side Louisville City. The 19-year-old Sierre Leone native will start the season with Crew's new MLS Next Pro side Columbus Crew 2. LouCity will receive a small fee and a percentage of any future transfer.
Originally signed from the Montverde Academy, Kamara spent the 2021 season on loan at USL League One side North Carolina FC where he scored four goals and five assists in 21 games. Columbus Crew 2 is set to be one of 21 clubs participating in Major League Soccer’s recently announced MLS NEXT Pro this upcoming season (overview).
