South America complete: División Profesional in the TM-Database

The Transfermarkt database has reached another milestone. The Bolivian División Profesional is the final league of the South American football federation CONMEBOL to become fully accessible.

The Apertura of the División Profesional was canceled on March 16 after having completed matchday 12 and has since been interrupted. The Strongest La Paz and Club Always Ready shared first place with 21 points each. The top scorer is Jair Reinoso. The Colombian has scored ten goals in 12 games and assisted four more goals. 

Among the most prominent players in the league is former Bundesliga striker John Jairo Mosquera, who now plays for Royal Pari. The former Werder and Union striker managed three goals in eight games. For the Colombian, it is already the ninth country in his career. Goalkeeper Daniel Vaca is going into his tenth season with The Strongest; the Bolivian national keeper will celebrate his 42nd birthday on Nov. 3. This season he has played every game over the full 90 minutes.
