Der französische Klub FC Nantes beschäftigt sich intensiv mit Trabzonspor-Linksverteidiger Eren Elmali. Wie „NTV Spor“ berichtet, hätten die Franzosen bereits zum dritten Mal eine Offerte an den Schwarzmeer-Klub gerichtet. Demnach biete Nantes vier Millionen Euro für Elmali, den Trabzonspor im Juli 2022 für 3,6 Millionen Euro von Kasimpasa verpflichtet hatte. Trabzonspor verlange jedoch sechs Millionen Euro, um Elmali ziehen zu lassen. Der 23-Jährige bestritt in der laufenden Saison 33 Einsätze für die Bordeauxrot-Blauen und verbuchte einen Treffer und einen Assist. Der gebürtige Istanbuler besitzt in Trabzon noch einen laufenden Vertrag bis 2027. Elmali, der bislang zehn Länderspiele für die Türkei absolviert hat, hofft auf eine Nominierung für den türkischen EM-Kader für die EURO 2024 in Deutschland (14. Juni – 14. Juli).
