Fulham have sold US-born right-back Marlon Fossey to Standard Liege. Both clubs made the transfer official on the Jupiler Pro League deadline day on Tuesday. Fossey has signed a three-year contract with his new club.
Fossey was born in Los Angeles, California, and holds a US passport; he has represented the United States at the U19 and U20 levels. Fossey also holds a UK passport and grew up on the island of Jersey. A Fulham product, Fossey spent last season on loan at Bolton Wanderers where he made 15 appearances in League One (one goal and five assists). The transfer makes Fossey the seventh US men's national team eligible player plying his trade in the JPL (overview).
