Southampton are in talks to sign Portugal Under-21 forward Vitinha from Braga.
Vitinha, who has a €30million (£26.4m) release clause inserted into his current contract, is one of three strikers being considered by the south coast side with just over 24 hours remaining of the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old has been in fine form for Braga this season, scoring 13 goals in 27 games across all competitions.
